WHY CHOOSE A LIFESTYLE NEWBORN SESSION

When considering newborn photos there are so many different options and styles. Traditional newborn photos are typically taken between 7-14 days of life and include posed photos of baby by themself. Lifestyle newborn photos include the entire family and are not overly posed.

Lifestyle newborn photos, unlike traditional posed newborn photos can be taken at any time in the first month of life. We recommend waiting until baby is at least a week old so that they are eating well and do not need to constantly nurse throughout the session. Baby can be as old as a month old for lifestyle newborn photos.

Lifestyle newborn photos can be taken at home or in a studio. The focus in these types of photos is the love between your family and your new baby. We will capture all of the teeny tiny baby features as well as your family together. These photos capture the emotions your family is experiencing so that you can hold onto that feeling for years to come.

While the focus is on natural, intimate family moments you will be given prompts and posing. So if you’re concerned about not knowing what to do we will walk you through it. You’ll have that posed but not posed look.
