Our Atlanta newborn photography sessions begin with a planning appointment where we style your whole family. You’ll get to choose from our exclusive client wardrobe for mama and children. The morning of your session hair and make up will arrive at your home to help you get ready for your session.
Whether your session is in the studio or in your home you’ll enjoy a stress free experience where you’ll spend time connecting with your new love. We will create some memories that capture how you feel about your sweet baby. You’ll have portraits to cherish that show the love you and your family share.

We booked Christy to capture our baby girl’s newborn pictures and we were not disappointed! Christy has a great eye for framing up the perfect shots and I love her light and airy style. We have hair and make up come to your home so you can relax and show up to your session ready for photos. Your dress will be freshly steamed and ready for you. About 3 weeks after your Atlanta newborn photography session we’ll meet for your viewing and ordering appointment where you’ll view your images for the first time and choose from our custom artwork options. You’ll choose from heirloom photo albums that you can cherish for years and then pass down to your baby and gallery wall art that you can walk by and admire to keep those memories alive every day.
You’ll enjoy a luxurious and stress free newborn portrait experience and walk away with printed artwork that you can experience for years to come.

Atlanta newborn photography studio sessions are wonderful because they have ample natural light even on a cloudy day. In the studio we will capture the genuine connection between you and your family. A studio session is right for you if you don’t have enough natural light in your home or if you don’t want to stress about tidying up before your session.
Is a studio session right for me?

In home sessions are great for capturing memories in your daily environment and typically take place in 1-2 rooms in your home. These usually include a nursery and bedroom but can be done in any room with natural light. An in home session is right for you if you have enough natural light in your home and want your home to be the backdrop for your photos.
Would an at home session work for me?

Atlanta Newborn photography sessions typically take place between 10-14 days of age but can take place at any time in the first month, or later if needed.
How old should baby be for our newborn photos?
questions —
We take care of everything for baby. We provide swaddles that photograph perfectly and bows for sweet girls. If you prefer to have your little one wear something other than a swaddle like a sentimental outfit we love that too! We want you to have a stress free Atlanta newborn photography experience so we take care of every detail!
Do I need to bring anything for baby to wear?

We work on baby’s timeline so if baby is born early and healthy we will still photograph within the first month. If baby needs a little extra time in the hospital we will choose a date when baby is cleared to be home and both mom and baby are healthy. Because these are lifestyle photos and not posed newborn photos, they can be taken at any time within the first couple of months.
What if baby is born early?

Newborn sessions typically take between 1-2 hours. We give plenty of time for baby to have diaper changes and a feeding if needed.
How long will my newborn session take?

On the occasion that baby is awake during part of the session we get to capture that sweet relationship between you and your sweet baby. We will give you all of our tips and tricks to help baby sleep during a session but if they don’t, that’s okay!
What if baby doesn’t sleep during our session?

Your gallery of edited images will be ready approximately 3 weeks after your Atlanta newborn photography session date. You will have an appointment to view a slideshow of your images and to choose which images you'd like to display in your home.
We will choose from heirloom albums and custom wall art for your home and your finished pieces will be ready in about 10 weeks.
When will my images be ready?

If you choose to purchase digital images of your gallery you will receive a link to an online gallery of images for you to download high resolution images.
Your finished artwork will be ready to pick up in approximately 10 weeks.
